Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [Company LLC] ("ClaimFinch", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use ClaimFinch at claimfinch.com.
1. Who we are
ClaimFinch is a marketing service that helps people check if they may have an injury claim and connects them with one participating attorney. We're not a law firm. You can contact us at hello@claimfinch.com or [Company LLC], [address].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us: your answers to our claim check (such as the type of accident, your role, when it happened, whether you've had medical care, who was at fault, what the accident has cost you, whether you already have a lawyer, and your ZIP code, city and state); your contact details (name, mobile number, email address and best time to call); the other driver's insurance company, if you choose to tell us; and anything you send us by email or through a form.
Information collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you visit, the site that sent you to us, campaign tags and ad click identifiers in the link you used, and information from cookies and similar technologies.
Information from others: services we use to check that phone numbers and email addresses are valid, and advertising platforms that report how our ads perform.
3. How we use information
To run the claim check and show you the right next step. To send your request to one participating attorney near you, so their office can contact you. To contact you about your request. To keep a record of the consent you gave us. To check information, prevent fraud and keep the site secure. To understand how the site is used and improve it. To measure and improve our advertising. To comply with the law.
4. How we share information
With one participating attorney: when you send a request, we share your answers and contact details with one participating attorney, and the people who work for them, so they can contact you about your request.
With service providers: companies that host our site and database, send messages, check phone numbers and emails, and provide analytics, under contracts that limit how they can use the information.
With advertising partners: we may use tools from advertising platforms, such as Meta and Google, to measure and improve our ads. Some state laws treat this as "sharing" or "selling" personal information, and you can opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share page.
For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety and security.
In a business transfer: if our business is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We don't sell your information to lists of companies, and we never send your request to more than one participating attorney.
5. Information about your health
Some of your answers, such as whether you were hurt and whether you've had medical care, may be health information. We use it only to handle your request, and we share it only as described above. Our Consumer Health Data Policy has more detail.
6. Calls and texts
If you agree, we and one participating attorney may contact you by calls and texts, including messages sent using automated technology, at the number you gave us. Consent isn't a condition of using our service. You can reply STOP to any text, or email us, to stop messages.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including keeping records of consent for as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it or remove details that identify you.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information or targeted advertising. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sale and sharing.
To make a request, email hello@claimfinch.com or use our Do Not Sell or Share page. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. California residents can find more in our California Privacy Notice.
10. Children
Our site is meant for adults. If a child was hurt, a parent or guardian can use the claim check on their behalf. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll change the date at the top when we do.
