Consumer Health Data Policy

This policy explains how we handle consumer health data, as defined by laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
1. Health data we collect
Whether you were hurt, whether and where you've had medical care, and how the accident has affected you, such as medical bills, ongoing treatment and effects on your daily life.
2. Where it comes from
From you, when you answer our claim check.
3. Why we collect and use it
To run the claim check and send your request to one participating attorney so their office can contact you about your possible claim. We collect it with your consent.
4. Who we share it with
One participating attorney, and service providers who host and process data for us under contract. We don't sell consumer health data.
5. Your rights
You can ask to see the health data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent. Email hello@claimfinch.com. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we'll respond within the time the law requires.
